The refuge has a capacity to accommodate 50 people. With the double beds separated into 3 rooms, on the first floor. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean.

On the ground floor of the building there is a warm welcoming area and a sitting room. The refuge's restaurant and it can serve up to 100 people. Visitors will have the opportunity to taste some of the region's best delicacies. This is one of the most unique refuges of the country.

The surrounding area is large and comfortable, giving the guests the ability to enjoy the cool summer afternoons next to the Aoos river. Part of it is being developed to be used as a camping ground.

The refuge "VALIA CALDA" is ideal for educational excursions For Universities and Schools, that study subjects in relation to nature.

The prices for overnight stay are fixed by the Greek Mountaineering - Climbing Federation and are the same for all the mountaineering refuges in Greece.

The refuge "VALIA CALDA" offers to its guests the traditional warm hospitality of the region of Epirus while helps them become familiar with the extremely beautiful sights of our country. It was created to serve the friends of the mountain, the nature lovers, climbers, lovers of mountain sports, mountain biking, rock climbers, and canoeing - kayaking.
